Overall, this was a fantastic little love story. Kat and James were adorable together, and although I typically dislike a third-act breakup, the writing of this one was superb. It’s not a breakup as much as a “we need to work on ourselves independently before this relationship can work” situation. It’s much better than miscommunication or, even worse, not communicating at all. Kat and James approached challenges maturely and made relationship choices that set a solid foundation for the future. It was a breath of fresh air to read a romance novel featuring a “healthy” couple, as opposed […]
Eh, it was ok. Honestly, I feel kind of icky now that Iβve finished it. The FMCβs name is Christmas (Chrissy). Because she was born on Christmas Eve. Her brother is Forth. Because he was born on the Fourth of July. Seriously, I canβt make this shit up. Really, REALLY cheesy. I feel like MMC, Wyatt, threw up red flag after red flag. I just didn’t like him. He was too protective & alpha. In a creepy way. Maybe itβs because this is a novella & there wasnβt time to develop the characters as much. Or maybe itβs […]
Eve Lombard is a quirky, neurodivergent (ADHD), creative, who hyper-focuses, forgets to eat, & buys planners with the intent to get organized only to forget about them soon after. She has a deep love of crafting & wants to start a small business making handmade earrings, stickers & stationery. Recently dumped by a jerk who criticized & shamed her for being neurodivergent, her confidence is shaken & sheβs ripe with imposter syndrome. Cole Kincaid is Eveβs older brotherβs best friend. Heβs the full package. Sweet, supportive, protective, intelligent, understanding, patient, & kind. A former Heston U hockey player […]
Beautifully written, an intriguing plot & I loved all the characters. I was genuinely sad when it was finished. I didn’t want it to end!
